|
|
So, I've downloaded a few games to burn for my Wii. A couple of them worked with no problem (Wii Sports, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games).
However, a couple of others had issues. For example, Call of Duty works fine for one level, but won't load level 2. Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles messes up the graphics. I used good quality DVDs but I think the problem might lie with my DVD burner. The slowest it will burn at is 4x.
My question is this: If I try burning them again, will the same problems occur? Does the problem usually lie with the burner, the burning process for that specific disc or with the image I downloaded? I don't want to waste a load of discs finding out the answer myself.

Buy some Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD-Rs from Gmarket. They're cheap (like w300 a disc) and are recommended on the wii hacking sites.
Also, try downloading a program called "Imgburn". After switching to the aforementioned brands and burning with this program I've made about 20 copies working perfectly (at 16x). |

| I'd go for a slower burn just to be safe. Also, watch out for Dual layers. Make sure the layer break is set correctly. Had a headache trying to burn smash bros. |
