This post has not point other than to vent and rant. If anyone wants to they can make their own judgements on me as they wish.
But I am really f'n tired of these Koreans!!!
Their ability to lie and manipulate amazes me! They can lie for the simplest things, to great big made up stories!
They feel no accountability for anything they do wrong!
They think that just because I'm not fluent that I can't understand anything they say!
And they stupidly think that, unlike their sorry loser asses that can't do anything right, that just because I'm a "foreigner" that it's impossible that I could have actually learned, picked-up on, and improved on my Korean.
And if I dare use the new found skills, oh it must mean that I must have been lieing to begin with when it comes to how much I knew Korean from the beginning!!!!
I am so tired of these people literally having no brains, or if they do, having ones so small that they have no room for common sense and decency!!!!! Let alone actually learning a language!!!! |

Lame rant.
Get into how they slurp noodle soup, and hork all over the place.
Sounds like YOU made the mistake of speaking chicken scratch in front of coworkers. |

They literally have no brains? How can one live without a brain? I think you meant to say, "I am so tired of these people having no brains, figuratively."
I hate to go off-topic, but this is something that needs addressing. Literally means something is actually the way it is stated. It is the complete opposite of figuratively. You are an English teacher, right? |

Actually... yes it is a lame rant...
But since it's my rant I'll make it as lame as I want.
I don't have to give specifics if I don't want, I can make lame broad generalizations, rehash stuff that's already been said dozens if not hundreds of times by other posters.
As for the language thing... I would say it's almost that I've learned a little too much. They knew part of what I hoped to do while I was here was to become more fluent in Korean. Now that they actually hear full, complete sentences coming out of my mouth, they're freaking out that I can actually understand some of the trash talk they've been doing. Idiots! |

Koreans are a horrible ungrateful people. There's no need to make excuses for them anymore.
There would be no SOUTH Korea if the US didn't stop China from invading it 60 years ago. And for 60 years US troops have made sure the Norks didn't make them commies.
Could South Korea defend itself??? Hell no!
Yet these spoiled Koreans protest US troops in Korea? For God's sake, let the South Koreans spend their own $$$ and blood to defend themselves. |

This reminds me of a rerun episode of "How I Met Your Mother" on Korean tv. But as the character on that episode said... No, I mean literally!
Haven't seen them making any intelligent decisions lately that would require actually making use of the brain and intelligent thought. Besides, if people can't really live without a brain, what's with all the people in comas that are technically brain dead. (No offense to any of those individuals)
Edit: to add smiley... yes i am that lame... Not meant to go against poster... just K's in general

Now I can really go off-topic.

Brain dead means dead. Just because machines are making the heart beat or the lungs expand does not mean the person is alive. Once they're brain dead, there is no hope for recovery.
I apologize for being such a nerd . Thank you, OP, for giving me this opportunity. |

Why does everyone dress so similarly in Gangnam and other popular areas of Seoul?
What's happening to the worlds' currencies? |

I stand corrected... twice...
I shall rephrase to say that whatever nerves, synapses, cells and whatnot that they have in their brains have been so horrifically mutated that they give off the semblance of one without a proper functioning brain. |

Meh, you introduced the topic upfront as a rant, ergo, rant away. It's not supposed to be logical or well written, nor received as such. |

Don't worry, the brain dead don't offend so easily. If so, I imagine they'd be a bit more put out when people steal their organs out of their bodies, but they always take it so well! |

Ah, the word your looking for is "retard", as in "my co-workers are a bunch or retards". In that case, it's definitely a good idea to add a little "no offense to all the nice mentally disabled or relatives/friends of the nice mentally disabled", but I don't think it means much after everyone has laughed at their expense. Sorry, being bigoted and guilty about it here, don't mind me. |

Very good point. That is the word I am looking for. Apparently the lack of a properly functioning brain is rubbing off on me.
I have run out of steam in ranting against the Koreans, though I'm sure I'll change my mind as soon as I leave this message. Time to cool off, along with witty, calm responses has actually put a smile on my face, rather than fueling my rage.
Hmm... yeah... not really great at the posting thing anyways... as you can clearly... umm... not see...
Feel free to hijack this though and make it a thread to discuss and promote ways of aiding those lacking proper brain functioning skills... Heck, if any country had severe need of some aid in that direction, Korea is definitely it. Too many of them around controlling companies and offices when they should really be locked up in an institution and force fed meds to actually make them a decent human being. |

Oh, pshaw, you're just fine at the posting. You just made a little mistake is all! Why, just the other day I asked ED209 to get naked with me- the lawsuit is pending. Your post was funny, keep saying mean things about your co-workers, people can relate! |
