Regarding Indian food: walk out exit three past the police station and Starbucks, both of which will be on your right. After you pass the Dunkin Donuts there is a hill on your right. Go up that hill and look for "Taj Palace", which is on the second floor of a building on your right, just after the first side street. I think the buffet is only on weekends, but the food is really good there.
I don't know anything about good accomodations in Itaewon besides the Hyatt, and that's not exactly cheap. |

I'm of Pakistani descent, so please try the following 2 restaurants.
As you walk past 'What the book' bookstore up the hill, go around the corner and walk towards the Mosque.
Keep your eyes to the right of the road and you'll find a new restaurant called 'Korean Muslim Food'. The portions are not big, but more importantly the food tastes very nice.
It's new and their Chicken Curry has a beautiful taste. Try them.
Or, as you walk up the hill towards 'What the book' bookstore, there is a massive restaurant called 'Foreign Restaurant'. Forget them, look on the other side of the road, opposite them.
A restaurant called 'Hoor Restaurant' with transparent windows serves good quality Indian/Pakistani food.
Ask for Mutton Curry there, it is really nice. |

I stayed there a couple of weekends ago and it was nice. I equate it to quaint little boutique hotels back home. The room isn't too small but it's relatively new and the decor is cute.
Each room has a computer and internet access. |

Good Indian food in Korea? Forget about it. For a place to stay, try the Hamilton: you will be across the road from Geckos, a block from Helios, and generally smack in the middle of p*ssy-land. |

Everest may be at the top, but The Himalayan restaurant has a great range
Take exit # 8 from Dongmyo subway station (# 636). At the street, look up to the 3rd floor: you will see The Himalayan...excellent food, and reasonable prices, including a Thali set for Won 10,000.
Alternatively, take exit # 5 (or is it 6?), and at the street, look up to the 2nd floor: you'll see Namaste restaurant...also worth salivating over
Enjoy! |
