well,
I thought I would do a bit of an experiment with the old job hunt. For a week or so I pushed out my CV to a number of schools listing my nationality as a kiwi.
Then I switched passports (as I'm also a canadian) and I started getting interviews.
Result, if you can don't say your a kiwi if at all possible

CLG: That last time is almost beyond comprehension. What is the point you are trying to make? |

If you were Australian, British or American the experience wouldn't be different.
The lesson isn't to avoid saying you're from New Zealand but to state you are Canadian if you can.
Many Koreans say that Canadians are preferred, and I have received spontaneous applause when asked "You are American?" and I answer "No, I'm Canadian." |
