I'm thinking of no longer being a catholic mainly because its based on a great story tale and has really not much merrit unless you believe in the tooth fairy or Jesus, or Mohamed..

So I am going to join the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster and become a devout Pastafarian. I am looking for any one that could help guide me into the holy pasta bowl of enlightenment.

If you really are thinking of getting out of a religion, it is a decision that shouldn't be made lightly. It might drive a serious wedge between yourself and family or friends who don't appreciate your mocking of their superstitions.
