|

Hey guys, im after abit of information....My friend is finishing his contract early and is wanting to go back home for a month or two then come back to a new school...will he have to go through the visa process all again (eg backround check and police check) despite having done it for the current visa?? Or is he better to not go home, get his visa transferred to the new school, piss around till he starts, then extend it some how when his visa expires (or at this time will he still have to do the whole process)
Also, can he just leave and hand in his arc card at the airport if it works out that he can go home? Or does he need to take his letter of release to immigration and get an exit order??
Also abit curious if it will be the same for me when i change schools at the end of my contract....abit of a pain immigration not having proficient english to discuss this with....[/quote] |

Unless the work contracts are concurrent (back to back with NO days off in between) he will have to go through the whole visa process again.
Just hand in the ARC at the airport on the way out and that ends his current visa without need for an exit order.
