I suggest you contact a lawyer. In Korea the signature of both parties is required for a divorce, unless there are extraordinary circumstances. The cost can range from a few million up to 30mil won for a divorce here. It might be best to do the divorce in your home country depending on the circumstances. |

Start by emailing your next ex wife's phone number to me. |

I'm due to get divorced soon. I got married as a foreigner to another foreigner in Korea. We will need to attend Seoul Family Court, pay a small fee and they'll send us the legal papers 10 working days later. |

Apparently you can forge signatures and take your spouse's assets if you're a Korean. Remember the story on here about divorced in absentia? |

I got divorced to my Korean wife while I was here and she was in America. The Korean lawyers wanted over $5,000 to do it. It is much cheeper and easier to do it in America. |

If you want to cheap out, you could always learn korean, and look up some legal documents of past cases, then just represent yourself. |

Divorced my Korean (now ex-)spouse 4 years ago. We had to go the district court and apply for a divorce, then go back a few days later and stand before a judge and state our reasons. He signed a form and it was done. We then had to take some paper to the local-gu office. If my ex-spouse had not been helpful it would have been extremely difficult without a lawyer. As it was, the split was reasonably amicable and I was able to get by without a lawyer. It cost a few man won to complete everything. |

Wrong. Pass, A+. If he gave us the lady's phone number, he would be able to easily prove adultery on her part. |
