The constant whining and disparaging of Korea by so-called English teachers has become tiresome. If you people can't appreciate and show gratitude for the great deal you've got here, then pack your bags and go home! |

It's a longstanding tradition at Dave's.
If you weak-kneed apologists and sensitive gyopos wanna praise Korea 24/7 then only pay attention to those kinds of threads or else find yourself a KimParkLee Cafe.
Let us be. |

The Internal Hierarchy of Toilet Land
1: The Toilet Fairy -
He is like the "Aslan" of Toilet Land, with the power to flush all toilets everywhere at the same time. In fact, it is said that - with his Magic Toilet Brush - he can flush Reality Itself.
2: The Little Pixies - They have some badass supernatural toilet powers, but they are not quite as badass as the Toilet Fairy.
3: The King of Toilet Land - The ruler of the normal toilet people.
4: The Mayor of Toilet Town
Does anyone have any other ideas?
I am presently wondering about the ability stats of the Toilet Fairy. Either D20 or GURPS would be fine. |

I've always found the biggest losers in life are those that moan about what is on television yet remain glued to their sets, lacking either the creativity or spirit to reach forward and turn it off. Of course, doing so would just emphasize the huge void that is their life and the lack of other options confronting them.
There is a big world out there Dokdo. Why not switch the computer off for a bit and go and explore some of it? Who knows, you might even be able to make a few of those imaginary sexual fantasies you post on here come true. Wouldn't that be something? |

I know what you mean. That is why I am urging those who daily get onto their computers and moan and whine about Korea to do something different---get some creativity and spirit, and do something about the situation; turn off the computer; or, better yet, go home! Certainly, they are doing absolutely nothing, for both themsleves are the kids they are supposedly teaching. What waste. |

My theory is that most the people that think it's soooo important to have a place to vent are tremendous chickenshits. You what i do when something about Korea annoys me? I verbalize to the people around me. I make it aware that I feel disrespected or am uncomfortable and most of the Koreans I interact with (I don't socialize with anyone I don't like) understand.
I think most of the bigots and bitchers on dave's are the people getting stepped all over by people everywhere. |

You are correct. When Kimerly shoves you in the subway, shove back harder. When adjumma trieD to shove past me to get to the turntile, I didn't let that happen as I bumped her hard to the right. When Kimberly acted petulantly because I would not eat the garbage octopus, it felt really good telling him 'you should get over it'. |
