In general, what do y'all think on this? Say you have a recruiter who's not terribly impressive, obviously overselling at times, and somewhat dense. (This is not every recruiter, but it is many.) And you know they've placed teachers in jobs that didn't work out in the past. (Actually, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find one that hadn't, even those I'd label "good".)

Since the recruiter is only the "introduction," and more research is always noted, is it possible that the school could still be lovely? (Particularly if they've retained foreign teachers and get the stamp of approval from foreign teachers.) Or would you automatically judge the school based on the mistakes of the recruiter?

It's entirely possible for a terrible recruiter to have a fantastic job to give away.
