For those who think Big Bill is back, this is a video done by a Slim Shady wannabe Anthro undergrad who took his first Philosophy core course. Buried as irrelevant.

You know this isn't Digg, right? You can't "bury" something on a message board unless you get a mod to delete it or *gasp* don't post so it goes back to the top of the page! You're a genius, Straph!

Wow...that's just awful. I think it defines awfulness, actually.

So, just to clarify here: you used a term you apparently picked up somewhere on the interwebs. Not only did you use the term incorrectly, but you actually did the opposite - rather than "burying" it, you brought it to the top of the main page.

Just because you typed "swing and a miss" doesn't make you look any less stupid. You may as well have typed "I know you are, but what am I."

So, just to clarify here: I used a digg phrase as an expression of my disapproval, it went over your head, now you're embarrassed, and you're taking your anger out on me by going back, back waaaay back from my Family Guy quote to one from Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

Heh. I suppose you'll say that "...a swing and a miss" is actually from baseball. See if you can spot my other baseball metaphor! I swear, it's like I'm Levar Burton around here, with a lighter skin shade.

Don't even worry about it. Straphanger will just tell you're stupid for not "getting" it. Mind you, this will be regardless of the fact that he doesn't actually know what he's talking about and will change the accepted definitions of terms and phrases to suit whatever it is that's in his head at the moment. In Straphanger's world, language is actually an impediment to understanding, as meaning is completely subjective.

It's cool, dude, you missed it, and I was looking at the Reading Rainbow angle, but you might have never seen the show. You don't need to get angry with me further, it's totally cool. I understand you missed it, it's not a big deal.
