Hey folks...welcome to another year of softball in Daegu. This month is a busy month for us and will be for you too....please have a look at the information below. Looking forward to seeing you all out again, and please forward this on to people who played last year or are interested in playing this year...Thanks. Here are some details for you....

Sign Ups

Who: Returning Players
Where: The Holy Grill, downtown Daegu.
When: Saturday, March 14th 5pm-9pm
Sunday, March 15th 12pm-4pm

Who: New Players
Where: The Holy Grill, downtown Daegu.
When: Saturday, March 21st 5pm-9pm
Sunday, March 22nd 12pm-4pm

Draft Night

This year we decided to have a little more fun with it and have a draft night. You will be called up by your team manager and be presented your team shirt. Should be fun...please try and make it.

Who: You...assuming you want to play!
Where: Club That, Downtown Daegu
When: Sunday, March 29th, 5 pm.


Cost: W40,000-this will get you a t-shirt, 7 days of playing ball (maybe more, but that will come later when it gets figured out), season end party.

We are aiming at having 6 teams in the league this year, same as last year. We don't see it being a problem filling these spots. We had a rather large waiting list last year. We encourage you to get there early and sign up. The first week is for the league returnees, and the second weekend is for newbies....We highly encourage you to come in person to sign up so that we can put a name with the face come draft night!

Nice...this is a kick ass league that is growing every year...loads of fun and a nice way to meet folks beyond neon lit smokey bars! Not sure if Daejon has this on the go...but this is the 3rd year in the Gu.
I am safe to assume it will be on Sundays again?

If it's Holy Grill sponsored then I'd hafta pass.

If anyone else besides Holy Grill has an extra left-handed glove (whatever the opposite hand glove is) in Daegu then I'll play for your team. I don't have the energy to go out and find left-handed gloves Korea.

You guys should sell beer at the games, if you already dont! Sunday beers are the best. Softball would give me something to do while I'll poppin suds!

Glad you mentioned that Crack Monkey. We sell local swill at the games at near-Family Mart prices. All proceeds go to the league gear and our end of year party. And yes, females are welcome and encouraged to come out!

Update- the response has been huge to our facebook page. We only have room for 72 players because of field time constraints, so the first 72 to come to the Holy Grill with their league fees will be in. After that we will start a waiting list.

All of our games are on Sundays spread out from April through late June. We only carry a couple of extra players on each team, so there is an expectation when you sign up that you will make it to every game. If making it to the Sunday games will be a problem for you, please don't sign up!
