hey, i plan to travel to seoraksan 3rd weekend of april. i'm looking for some cheap accommodation for my gf and myself.

should i book this beforehand? i thought just a 'min-bak' will be fine and i'm not sure if they are clustered together or if i should book it beforehand.

also, any recommendations on places to stay? we are looking for under 100,000 krw/night, ideally under 60,000 krw/night.

for transportation, how much in advance should i buy train tickets?

cheers,

I went to Seoraksan last year and stayed at a "hostel" there. The room had a bed, a comfortable chair, a table, a full kitchen, etc. It cost W30,000 per night.

Cheap accomodation can be found there.

If you're interested in camping out, there's a campground at the entrance to the park.

As far as normal rooms go, you can find a plethora in Sokcho. You can flop in Sokcho and take the bus to the park entrance. I don't remember the bus number, but I've posted it here before.
