I left Korea over a year ago due to a family emergency. Thankfully my family member didn't die and I found myself obligated to stay stateside. (And no, this was not a planned run so chill on the high-horse moralizing.) When I left Incheon I told them I would be coming back and therefore didn't want to surrender my AR card. I quit my job which invalidates the card and now am looking to return to Korea. Should I a) ignore it b) go to the consulate here or c) go to immigration in Incheon when I arrive? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
W. |

Just tell them you gave the card when you left
Worked for me.
If they don't ask, you don't say anything. |

I like the don't ask/don't tell thing, but if they ask, just say the truth. You did nothin wrong. |
