When I try to download Skype it downloads. Then I get a pop up in Korean, my computer is running Vista in Korean. No matter which I pick the process stops and I don't go to the install page. Any ideas? Thanks |

start button
third option above the off button
region and language is the one with the earth with a clock
keyboard and languages is the third tab
go to the drop down menu
english is 영어 it could be displayed as 미국영어 (american english)
you might want to change your location as well
go to the second tab and change to 미국 |

The most annoying thing is some programs will ignore your default language and go only on your region. I set my region to Korea for unicode because some korean video games don't have their fonts done properly. If you don't have korean for unicode chosen they display garbage. However if you choose that, half the programs you try to install assume you're Korean and ignore the fact that I'm running NA windows XP with my language set to English and run their installers in Korean (google earth even went so far as to create korean start menu items) |
