Hi! i taught in Seoul for four months with the required visa. I was then fired for stupid reasons..Mainly the school not wanting to stick with their contract..anyway I found another job and they wanted me to work there before i had my new visa. i worked there for three weeks and they were still trying to apply for my visa. i gave them all the information they required but they still couldn't pinpoint the time i would do a visa run. So i left the country. i didn't want to have to pay a fine. I was wondering if i could still return to teach in korea despite all that.

It depends on two things:

a) your original visa must be expired before you can return

b) your first boss that fired you may have put a note in your immi file that would make it hard to impossible to come back.

Look in your passport for the answer to 'a'. No way to know about 'b' until you try to come back.

Does that note ever expire? I mean, if you've been blacklisted (assuming that's what you mean by the note), does that expire after a couple of years or are you just screwed for life?
