| Is there such a thing as long-term travel insurance that would cover me while living in Korea and traveling to other countries? I know I would have health insurance but I'm more concerned with health coverage if I travel outside of Korea. I also want something that would cover transportation expenses home in case of a catastrophic illness or accident or *gulp* transport home in the event of my death overseas. Does anyone know if such a plan exists? |

| Yep, there is such a thing as long term travellers insurance. If you're from the UK or Ireland, I can give you a link for the company I used or if not, I'm sure a google search for long stay or travellers insurance will bring up some insurance companies which will provide you with cover. |
