When I worked at the university library, we got this new book called "All Known Metal Bands" by Dan Nelson. I found it hilarious, but at the same time the book was simply from beginning to end just a list of known metal band names. No details about any of them, just a list of names... I believe there was minimal to no introduction at all to the list.
I remember there being a lot of repeat names. "Genocide" was used by many bands. Same with "Hate" and other words of that kind.
Its MSRP was like $22.
While the library got 200-300 new books/week and I worked there for a year, I vividly remember this one because of how ridiculous it is. It really is just a long list of names with no information at all. I'm sure there are websites with the same information for free. |
