Car Audio :
Question about having a Head Unit installed.
How much do they usually charge, what brands are available in Korea,
and has anyone had it done.

| If you want car shops, including audio, you'll find a whole city block of them behind Janganpyung station (1 stop from Gunja in East/Central Seoul). The area is kind of creepy, though. Dozens of poor ajosshis flag down cars in the street trying to get you to come to their auto shop. There's a real "mafia / repayment of debts by working" feeling to it all. |

Thanks,
Looking for something local. Found some audio comps on Gmarket.
Fairly cheap, vs prices at shops from what I've been told.

If you go to a car audio shop, installation is included in the price they give you for the head unit. It's not expensive. I got a nice pioneer unit put in for 180,000. The JBL12, amp, wiring, tweeters, highs, and mids I did all myself! |
