Will the U.S. pull out of this or are they done?

finished. country goes bankrupt. president obama declares the country is 'abandoned' and everyone flees for Canada (and after that becomes full, Mexico).

The land returns to the animals and the plants, eventually simple tribesmen cross over from a landbridge from Russia and create hunter-gather societies built upon the worship of decaying Starbucks.

No.

Americans will begin to save. They will reacclimate to the standard of living commensurate with the rest of the developed world. They will still drive a lot and be dependent upon their cars, but less dependent on their credit cards. Dave's Off-Topic forum remains an intellectual sh!th0le.

Where's the option in the poll for: Everyone has a bad day from time to time?

It's just that our 'bad day' started 30 years ago when the public got bamboozled into believing the government was the problem and forgetting that the love of money is the root of all evil.

Option 1 and Option 6 on the poll are the same. You should change them.

TEXAS Nation, Republic of, will finally denounce its unlawful annexation to the not-so United States and be fine.
Screw the rest.

IF the American sheeple awaken, as I see happening much more rapidly than I expected, and stand up, maybe they'll be OK, too.

I just enjoy the fact that after one day of posting Traveler007 created his own sock, Loggerhead007 and is now using that to post endless questions.

Which, as an aside, my first post was in no way serious.

If I recall correctly, this was tried once before and it didn't work out all that well for you all. Who was it that said the definition of neurosis is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results?

As the great Bill Clinton once said, "there is nothing wrong with America that can't be fixed by what's RIGHT with America..."

and I'd stop attacking The USA if I were those in Korea doing so.... the whole reason you have a job spreading English world-wide is because America is the sole global power of the 21st century.... maybe a new cold war will develop between Chinese interests, but the stars-n-stripes will remain a world power for some time to come.... its size alone allows this....

And I DON'T mean it's waist-size. If anything, downsizing will be a good for that aspect at least!
