http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-wellbeing/health-news/one-in-six-psychiatrists-has-tried-to-turn-gays-straight-1654273.html
During the 1950s and 1960s, when belief in psychological behaviourism was at its height, aversion therapy was used to "cure" homosexuals. Male patients were given a slide show which included pictures of sexually attractive men and women and a lever that allowed them to change the slides. If they lingered too long over the pictures of the men, and did not move on swiftly enough to the pictures of the women, they received an electric shock. A variation of this treatment involved a drug that would make them vomit.
I wonder where the electrodes were put? ha ha Shocked

http://www.somegaysite.com/stuff-to-read-while-refilling-the-sack

During the late 00's when the internet was at its height, blogging was used as an outlet for some "straight" men. "Straight" bloggers would scour the internet for homo-related content, usually pics and articles, and had a hand held "mouse" with which they could change the content. If they lingered too long on the 'man pics' their wife might walk in...A variation of this method is cruising in the park...

I wonder if the OP has ever tried that.... Shocked Shocked

The same can be done for "normal" males.

If you showed pictures of attractive women to a male and gave him a shock everytime he got excited, his body would adapt to fear women.

You can do it for just about anything...

Honestly. Is this true?
If I decided one day, I'd like to try and become homosexual, where do I sign up? How do I go about it?

I'm a lesbiam trapped in a mans body. I find it strangely enjoyable. A lady I know says I'm a latent gay. Nah. Can't imagine ridin' the baloney pony. But yee-ha if it's your thing.

Not exactly. Please read the post again. I'm not a rump ranger. I just think the female anatomy is most interesting. Try it.

Jon Stewart said it best when interviewing Mike Fuckabee. "When did you decide not to be gay?"
