Maybe we need an Election of 2012 thread to collect the significant moments in the campaign over the next 3 years and 7 months. Anyway, McCain came out with a less than ringing endorsement of Palin yesterday.

It does seem odd for anyone to be asked who they would support for an election that won't be held for almost 4 years. |

who, that is a very-roundabout and politik way of saying 'Hell no. She's not remotely qualified.'
Not really surprising considering the things she's said about his campaign people and, indirectly, him.
For me, the possibility of that horrid woman becoming president was the answer to the question: will you return to the U.S. in the next 4-8 years or still stay in exile? |

The fact that that woman was considered as a serious candidate for vice president was very sad. I mean the woman didn't know much about world events, cultures, and she was preaching religious values that her own family was not following. I can't really say if Obama will be a great president or not, but I am glad to have a president who is articulate, has federal experience, is aware of other cultures, countries, and has some knowledge of history. At least, he has that going for him. I can't say I am a supporter of Obama. I am a skeptic. I will wait and see, but I prefer him to Bush, not that it's saying much. |
