I have gone to a couple of barber shops and they hacked up my hair so I have decided to just cut my hair myself. Is there any place that sells hair clippers? I've looked at E-mart and Costco with no luck. Any help would be appreciated. |

All homeplus branches sell them starting at 30 grand or so. I bought some and they are fine. |

Technomart/Yongsan Electronics or such like places.
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra for a Braun or Phillips or, better yet, a Wahl, if you're lucky enough to find one. Don't buy the cheaper Chinese/Korean models with rechargeable stands/batteries-- they're crap and will die out on you after a couple of times.
European w/electrical cord, that's my 2 cents worth. Still have my Wahl (bought it 4-5 years ago in Technomart for about 80,000won) and it still works like new. |

Found mine (8k... Do a damn good job too, lol) at a street seller in Dongdaemon Stadium...
Went to Yongsan before that... Unless you want a 70k - 150k pair, don't bother there... |

I got a pair in Yongsan that was 30K. Works quite well, which surprised me. Forget the brand (Chinese crap probably) but one charge is good for 3 hours.
My last pair got really crappy fast. I suspect that the cause was leaving it in the bathroom and humidity messing it up. This one has been going strong since last summer. |

I got mine online for cheaper. I forget the brand, but as long as they have an electrical cord, they'll work fine. Mine has a rechargeable battery but always works at full strength if it's plugged in.
Incidentally, why do people still shop at Yongsan? It's just a market whose sole purpose is to rip off foreigners. |
