I hope the trade works out for both parties involved in this. Believe it or not, I was trying to save you some time and money. How would you have felt if I had the money in hand but after wasting a bunch of money more importantly time you find out that I wasn't interested because of a few small things.
The simple advice that people give sometimes is common sense but it is brought up so much because it seems what should be common sense has been lost on most of the public.
---------------------
I don't see how you could call me lazy when i looked at the various links and others when contemplating this item. As for seriousness, I try not to waste the buyer's time. I "use" it when I'm serious or trying to help them. in these cases, it's not wasted time, it's invested time. I asked you for information and you denied it. Also, you stated:
| Quote: |
| If we work some kind of trade or payment deal, then I'll bring the actual Kohjinsha and power cord. |
which to me sounds like I couldn't simply look out the window and say "sorry" as you suggested.
You can't seem to make up your mind about what you say and mean....

| So, I said I would bring the computer to any potential buyer to check it out AT NO COST TO THEM (MY TIME, MY DIME) before they pay anything. |
I call BS on this.... or rather, you call BS on yourself...

| First offer above 300,000 gets it delivered by me at no cost to the buyer if they are in Seoul. If you are near Pyeongtaek, I will consider going in your direction (like Yongin, Daejeon, etc.., but not Busan You'll have to meet me halfway if you live that far out.). |
So if I lived in Busan, it wouldn't be "your time and money" it would be a waste of both of our time and money. Oh, i don't live in Busan, I live even further away (time). |

The lazy comment comes from the fact I, being the seller, would go to the buyer. I wouldn't tell the buyer to come here. Even as a buyer, I have gone from Pyeongtaek to places in Seoul (like Gwanghwamun) where the seller didn't want to meet me at the station. They would give me the wrong exit, so I would have to call them up. They would give me a wrong street, or tell me to turn left when they actually meant right. After 4 times of me calling them, instead of them meeting me at the station, I would finally get to their apartment to see them emailing at their computer having a jolly of a time while I am sweating my balls off deciphering their crappy directions.

That's exactly why I was brisk. I had that computer, small, easier to carry than a textbook. I could go visit Seoul, eat out with friends, etc... if the deal didn't go through and come home with the computer. It wouldn't have been a waste for me, and if it was that serious of an issue, I wouldn't have moved out here in Pyeongtaek. These weekend trips allow me to enjoy Seoul life and then come back to a place which is not as crowded.

That's because I figured it would be easier to bring it up and show you instead of babysitting a computer for hours to get your replies which consisted of questions that could be answered upon arrival. Would you buy a newspaper on your way to work or call a friend and ask them to tell you if it was worth buying every morning? If I am going to Seoul anyway, I might as well just bring the thing up and you can look at it like someone could just look at the newspaper before they hop on the bus or train to work instead of questioning someone else if the newspaper fits all the parameters they want in a newspaper.

If I brought the actual Kojinsha with power cord to you, yes, you could just look out the window and see for yourself if it is what you want. Think of those ice cream trucks. You look out the window, you see the ice cream pictures on it as the truck goes by. If you want it, you come out. You don't want it, you stay inside. Simple, eh?

I don't see how you call it BS. I did bring the computer today to someone and he didn't pay for my train fare. I took a train back and I also took a train to a guitar shop so I could get a whammy bar. He didn't pay for transportation in either of those cases. My statement still stands, in theory and in practice.

If you lived in Busan or further out, then we would have to talk more about it to make necessary arrangements. I wasn't looking to do this. I was looking for what I stated, someone in Seoul or near Pyeongtaek. That was my first initial plan, and I never had to go to plan B (bank transfer, shipping, etc...). If I did have to go to plan B, then of course I would have taken the time to send actual pictures of the computer. I would have made sure everything I was going to give was in that picture (AS IF YOU WERE IN SEOUL AND I WAS SHOWING IT TO YOU IN PERSON). Again, I didn't have to do this, so I saved myself the trouble of borrowing a digital camera from the school I work at tomorrow to take a picture of a computer I traded today!!
I think I saved myself some time as a result, don't you? Have you wasted any time other than arguing with me? |

I suppose i have. i was trying to work some sense into you, but it is like arguing with a stubborn 4 year old. That leaves me with two options, leave the room or continues wasting my time. Enjoy your toys. |
