So my coteacher has been harping on me like crazy....apparently your not supposed to put the eye contact cleaning solution in your eyes directly.....you should actually buy something separate...according to her I've been doing it wrong for 5 years.
....any good brands...I assume she's talking about stuff like visine for contacts or those eye relif thingies that come in little tiny square bottles.
My eyes and contacts have been taking a beating here so I'm open to something different to try. Any suggestions. |

| yeah you shouldn't put the cleaner directly in your eyes, just go to any optometrist and ask/mime |

| Get some glasses and wear them during the dust periods. My coworkers were talking about doing that just the other day. Glasses are apparently very cheap here. |

You need some saline.
Wearing glasses is also good advice for dust days. Saying that, glasses here are cheap if you go for a really butt ugly pair of frames....next time you step in to class take a look around, the kids will be modelling the latest styles for you. My glasses broke after I got here so I had to go shopping for a pair...something I'd been dreading. After trying on a few pairs it became increasingly abundant that unless I was going to whip my underwear over the top of my trousers and start crime fighting as a side line, Korean frames do not a good look make. |

You should use 'Refresh Tears'. They are made by Allergan.
I used them for 6 months following LASIK surgery. They are similar to natural tears and don't dry your eyes out like Visine. They are safe to use on a continual basis. |

You should use optical concave lenses set in a metal frame placed on the front of your noggin for added hands free comfort. I too have to use such a device due to a flaw in my eye design concept my parents concepted which makes me 4 eyed as the saying goes. When I was a teen age 'bot, I had to wear nothing, but hard gas permeable contacts as showing weakness of having bad eyes was simply not cool. It's a curse of weakness we have to live with. I look in the mirror and see half man/half technology and bum out on being a cyborg. Glasses allow me to see computer screens and fine HD details of our modern day world small plastic white robots have to navigate while dodging weird people and wheeled machines. I guess the robot is the weird one as that's what they're all looking at and talkin about.  |
