My first meal of 2009 was a great t-bone steak and garlic bread in Guam and I continue to crave it; I also had there a Jamaican chicken dish I fondly recall ... and a cold apple cider ...

I also crave alongside all you guys here:

My first meal in Phucket was a sirloin, medium rare.

I sure could go for some fried noodles in brown sauce with chicken in it.

You should try Goose Island IPA from Chicago, the Guardian called it "probably the best beer in the world."

I had this in the Devonshire Cat in Sheffield. Probably the best pub in the world.

Any trip back to Korea and it'll be one of the first places we go.

I'm finally craving something Korean and have no idea why, of all things, I'm craving those brown shoestring stems in cheap kimbap. I used to see those dried on the sidewalk for goodness sake ... but now I'm imagining it in reconstituted banchan form Sad
