Hi all,
I've just recently been informed of when I will actually be having vacation time from my job. I'm super excited about planning trips and experiencing a lot of what SE Asia has to offer.
I'm not really a good lone traveler though. Prefer to travel with other people. So, I was wondering if anyone knew of any groups for foreigners who like to travel together or if anyone would be interested in planning something like this.
Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated. |

I have a long weekend the first week of May (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday). Then I have my big summer break at the end of July. I also randomly have 4 and 5 day breaks in August and October. Then I have a good two weeks for Christmas and the new year.
I haven't really done any planning yet. I'm just getting into travel planning mode and my first thought was to see if any other people were interested in traveling together. Even just little things here in Korea to would be great.
You can find me on facebook if you want to add me as a friend: [email protected].
I'll check out that website you posted later tonight. Thanks for the reply. |

Just curious -- do you guys work at public schools? They give more vacation/holiday days than private schools.
If so, do you find that the salary is sufficient for travel expenses? |

I do not work at a public school. I purposely went with a private school. I'm loving it! I am getting way more vacation days than are actually in my contract, so thats nice.
My pay will definetely allow me to save nicely for my vacations and not leave me hurting to pay my bills back home, or save money for other things. |
