|
|
Hi all
The summer wardrobe is a tad thin, and I was wondering where the good places are to shop for the 'foreign girl'. I'm 5ft 8inch and i've noticed pretty quickly that alot of clothes stores here aint gonna accomodate for the 12-14 US size
So where's your favourite places to shop? |

hey! I buy most things from Zara, its a spanish brand. Theres a store in myeong dong in the same building as forever 21,and one in the You ng plaza centre, you can access it from Euljiro-il-ga subway station.
reasonably priced clothes
Other stores that cater well are in the I park building at yongsan station, theres an italian branded store, and very reasonably priced but i forget the name of the store, oops, but its where Mango used to be, also directly opposite is Marks and Spencer,Papaya has great dresses, very cheap too, think its in the same building.
anyway pm if u want specific directions! Happy shopping |

| There is a place in Itaewon that I've been to a few times and had some luck. If you get off the subway at Itaewon and start walking down the street, it should be on your left. Unfortunately, I can't remember what exactly is next to it. I think it's called Big Boss and the entrance is a staircase that is recessed. You go up the stairs and into the store, then there is another staircase on the far right that leads up to women's clothes. I've gotten t-shirts, jeans, and some dressy shirts there. There used to be a really nice girl name Kimmie who spoke English and was really helpful, but the last time I went was January 08 so she might not be there anymore. Good luck! |

Wow, thanks guys!!! I'm excited that there's a Zara and Marks and Spencers here too!..I've lived in England for the last 5 yrs and M & S is an institution!..not quite right for dressing the 'younger generation' but their food is yum! ...right, focus on the clothes!
Thanks again, |

I second Zara and Marks and Sparks.. but don't expect too much from M&S. I was just there yesterday (the one in Yongsan) and it was a tad disappointing.
Mal-they have a Macy's outlet opposite M&S now. |

| How about clothing stores for women with.... fuller busts? I wear a G sized bra. It doesn't exactly work with the cute little korean dresses, but they are just so cute! |
