I think we are all guilty of such devious/heinous crimes. I can't say her name, but, I know someone that used to teach 1st grade. She told me she had a stomach ache one day and ripped a McNasty smack in the middle of the classroom. It was bad. It was one of those that made her eyes water. So, she started to walk towards the front of the class. Unfortunately, she forgot to shake it all out, so, it just followed her - the fart trail. She gets to the front of the class and a student raises his hand and says, "teacher, what is that smell?", to which she replied, "I don't know". For the next 5 minutes, the students were blaming each other trying to pinpoint the cause.

I made the mistake once of trying to squeeze out a quiet one behind my podium before I ventured among the savages.

Putting just a little pressure behind it, and of course while loosening the sphincter just a tad.

Damn it, wrong order again. Loosen first, then pressure.

But whoooeeee it was noisy. It gets worse.

I squeeze it off, so it sounds like an aborted trumpet 'blat'.

The class erupted in laughter, and I could let the rest out with confidence.

Just as I push, the co-teacher bellows "attention" in Korean, and there is dead silence. Well, all except for the baritone solo in my pants.

Kids from that class still laugh and that was more than two years ago.

Man, my stomach hurts from laughing. I tell you, I don't understand what is so funny about talking about farts. I can't stop laughing. Probabyl because it is one of those things that people do all the time, but don't talk about, kind of like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6vN4H6L458

my all time favorite video of YouTube. Well, except for the last minute, then it gets boring. The first 1:30 of the video is the best, the rest is not so good.

hahahahaaahahahahahahahah Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Tell me what you think about the video!!!!

I thought the first video was gold all the way through. In the second, the second fart was all 5x bonus.

If there's one thing I've noticed, it's that they all have poor hygiene compared to us.

I like to let a silent one out and then walk around the classroom while it slowly wafts out and everyone gets a little "taste" of it. I've been doing it so long now, though, everyone's onto the joke. I have to wait until I have a new class of 3rd graders to start it over again.
