I've received a deafening silence from many recruiters I've contacted, including some of the so-called 'fantastic, never-let-you-down-type-recruiters'.
However, I have found a recruiter that has set up an interview for me, with another GEPIK school on Monday.
If it all works out, there is still hope for you. You've got to be pushy and follow things up.  |

While it sucks to have racism pushed in your face like that, on the flip-side do you really want picky "handlers" *trying* to place you ...
... somewhere between Satan's balls.
If you're still in country, why not ask around? If not, why not ask for recruiter recommendations? |

I noticed from your registration date you've been here on the boards for a while, and I assume in country as well?
I don't know about Winedu specifically, but I have noticed over the last decade that Korea is, generally speaking:
I love the recruiters that specifically state in thier ads:
White female 20-30, with F2 ONLY
It's obviously discriminatory hiring practices, but hey, it's their country, not ours. What can you do?
I myself have gotten used to it, but that doesn't mean that it should be that way.
That being said, have you found that overall your personal experience here has been vastly different from this? |

Racism is pretty much the norm here, on many levels, isnt it?
My GEPIK school told me numerous reasons as to why I wasnt coming back, but then the principal tells me she wants 1) a woman, and 2) a Korean-Americanl....
So after seeing I fail both requirements, as a White German-American man, I can say I am now the victim of racism..... now, to just find the angle to play on this one..... |

They just want someone to boss around and speak full Korean to. There`s hundreds of schools who want a white face. You`ll find somewhere |
