I recently got a CRC done from here. I went through the Winnipeg Police Dept- even though I have never lived in Manitoba.

I sent them the required info and 1 month later (I was in no hurry- so no Fed Ex, etc...) got it. I paid by credit card.

I don't need to use it (as I changed employers on my E-2, then got it extended), so I never got it apostillated at the Embassy- but I heard it's fine. Here's the site with all the relevant info.:

So is there a question here anywhere that I missed or is this just an announcement?

Does it matter? Is it replies only here? Maybe I saw something on another posting that was asking about CRC's- should I footnote it?

A footnote might help.

I was confused when I read it and couldn't figure out the purpose. If you were looking for assistance with something, I would have tried to help. If it's for informational purposes to assist others, then thanks. I appreciate your efforts.

I just couldn't figure it out at the time, but apparently you don't want or need assistance so thanks for your gripping tale of getting a CRC.

Agreed. I also got mine there the last time I needed one and it was by far the least hassle option for a great price. I also recommended this for any Canadian on many other threads here. So if youre Canadian, reading this, and are still wondering where to get your CRC from -- Winnipeg Polices Services. There are almost no other reasonable options if you are not currently in Canada and require a CRC with VSS in a reasonable amount of time.
