The city of Iksan in Jeollabuk-do has created pink line parking for women drivers in public parking lots.
Iksan, chosen by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (여성부) as the first woman-friendly city, has 25 public parking lots, including at City Hall and the Madong City Library, where the spots are installed, and by the end of the year another 670 spots will go in 21 parking lots throughout the metropolitan area.
The pink lines, painted pink, are 2.5 meters wide rather than the standard 2.3, offering aid to unskilled women drivers. The city will also install 34 street lights and 194 guard lamps in high-crime areas to create safer streets. |

Great idea!
I think we should put in "Pink lanes" for unskilled Korean drivers all over the world. Maybe with metal rails? |

Just give them bumper cars so they can bounce off each other and we can turn them off when they completely lose control. |

Sounds chauvenistic but it's true, Korean women really are that bad. |

When stealing is described as "borrowing" by a thief, it's still stealing, and the thief is still a thief. |

How about a bus lane so the buses don't have cut in and out of traffic. Oh wait, they already have that and it's worked so well. |

I'm all for making any Korean parking spots larger. Too many of them are too cramped and lead to door dings. If you've ever had to suffer the consequences of door dings on an expensive aluminum body panel, then you'd understand. |

It says it's for unskilled women drivers but couldn't it also be for the unskilled drivers in general? How about the drunken drivers? this is a very sexist idea |

Sexist? This is where the western feminists fail to understand the mind of the Korean man. Feminists view this as bad, sexist, plain and simple.
Korean men view this as showing consideration for women. Korean men would see this plan as recognizing a real problem and addressing it by showing special consideration for the needs of these women.
When feminists get upset at ideas like this, Korean men literally don't understand why they are upset. |

The Korean men are saying the women are bad driving?
haha!
Every other day I see an accident of pure stupidty, every single car has body damage and I almost get run over everyday at a green crosswalk when I walk to school.
Sounds like the kettle is calling the pot black!
I'm not saying the women aren't bad, but the men are just as bad or worst, haha |
