So does anyone know of any bands that might be playing this year????
The website is up but no info 
I looked at the Fuji fest line up and I wonder who will be coming to Korea from there too.

| Be careful, last year "someone" (not officially Pentaport, but probably someone working for them) released online posters and ads for the concert. In included big name bands, like RATM, who never once thought about coming to Korea and many were on tour in countries very far from Asia. |

We live in a dead zone when it comes to notable international artists. With the exception of seeing Bjork last year at Olympic Hall (horrible venue), I've yet to see anybody worth a damn.
If you're into dmb, the Hongdae area, especially Cargo, have good djs that are touring from time to time. |

| Oasis will be there. They mentioned it at their recent concert in Seoul and on the tour blog. Unfortunately I'll be back in Canuck land by then.... |

Check again. There's a fairly full (and not too spectacular) schedule up now. |

No, I really will return to Canada in July...
Seriously though, you can check Liam's recent "Twitters". He mentioned they'll be back in July. Noel also said it to the crowd at the concert. Also, on several Korean blogs people wrote that they got to meet the lads at Woo bar at Walker Hill after the show and they mentioned it there, too. |

Check again. There's a fairly full (and not too spectacular) schedule up now. |
There's a line up for 2008, but not sure about 2009. |

Crying Nut's on the 2008 line-up. The new one isn't online yet.
But it seems that MGMT may be playing Pentaport 2009, which would be cool. Their website doesn't list the show, but they do have a little trip to NZ the week before and nothing directly afterward, so a festival trip to Japan and Korea could be a possibility. |
