I am just wondering if anybody knows what the cheapest way is to travel from Cheong-ju to Busan. Could anybody give me an English links to bus or train schedules as well?

Go to Cheongju bus terminal.

They should be at least hourly if not more frequent.

I wouldn't bother with timetables, just turn up on the day and ask at the window. They are the only ones who know about whether there are seats free.

If it were full, you could bus to Daejon or Daegu and catch the train from there.

I usually take the bus to Daejeon and then hop on the KTX.
