So was on the last train home and it ended at Seoul National. I still had a long way to go. And as we all know trying to get a taxi after midnight in Seoul is fun and games.
So started walking around to find a bar to sit down and have a drink for an hour until the new drivers come on duty and thought I found one. Walked down the stairs and then a scantly dressed women opened a door and ushered me in. Then I realized that I was at the barber pole place. Can't remember how many poles out the front.
Well, I thought why not. At least I will get a good massage.
I must admit the actual technique was really bad in the massage department. But when it came to the nitty-gritty I was surprised that she was going to ride the hobby-horse bare back.
No No. Grabbed the little rubbery thing out of the wallet and said it should be used. She had a very confused look on her face.
Anyway, for 70,000won the massage was crap and the other was just exercise.
But I couldn't believe the idea of not using a condom. First I am a dirty foreigner and as we know we all have aids. And second, now I understand why STD's in Korea is quite wide spread. K-guys visiting these places and then going home to shag the wife of GF - unprotected.
So heads up, use a rain coat in this country (any country really) but I thought how ridiculous - don't they educate these people. Even in developing countries like Thailand they are more aware of STD's. |

You should be ashamed of yourself!!
Paying 1 won more than 50,000 is a rip off!
Be smarter. |

If you go on the weekly plan, you can carry over your minutes. |

There once was a man from America,
Who got a massage in Korea,
The *beep* wanted bareback,
The man said, "why not?"
And he ended up contracting gonnorhea! |

I'm sure it was a complete accident.

Right...cheating on wives and girlfriends and having sex with prostitutes who have been with hundreds of other men is understandable...but not using a condom? That's unacceptable!
By the way...I agree that safe sex (or lack of) seems to be an issue in Korea. I just find it amusing and a little disturbing that people seem to think the problem is the symptom and not the disease. |

Am I reading this right? You can get a shag in Korea for like 40$? That wont even get you into the door of a hostess bar in Japan for a little chit chat. It costs more for a shag in Thailand from what I have heard. What is going on over there? Volume keeping the costs low? |

A little bit off topic, but a fun game my friends and I came up with one druken night in Itaewon...
Start at the top of Hooker Hill, and walk down one at a time in about 5 minute intervals... As you walk, start couting how many points you "earn"... Person with the most points by the time the group reaches the bottom of the hill (the 2nd intersection, not the first) wins!
Points are awarded as follows:
- Any version of a "Hello" or a door opening is worth 1 point
- 2 points if a woman touches herself in a sexual manner
- 5 points if a woman touches you in any way...
- 10 points if a woman mentions anything explicitly sexual to you
Other Rules:
1. No lingering... You must always keep moving (no stopping to talk to the ladies )
2. Unfortunatly, you're only allowed to say "No" to the women...
3. You are not allowed to actually enter any of the establishments... Your feet stay on the street!
Average scores for a Tuesday are running around 19... Saturday is up to 25 or so... Highest score we've seen in a 53, LOL... |

Check the exchange rate, W70,000 is closer to $50-55, but otherwise spot on. |

But also remember, in places like Ee-Yong-Wons, you might need to double-bag it for extra protection.
Remember, the next time you go home on vacation, go get a one-year supply of protection to take back with you to K-land...... |
