Yeah. And I would like to see a few off-target North Korean missiles land on Wellington killing some stupid kiwis like yourself.

Congratulations for even knowing that Wellington exists, putting you ahead of most americans.

Are you another one of those ignorant Koreans who thinks Kim Jong Il is not really a bad guy who would bomb Seoul and take this country by force if the US wasn't here? I suppose you believe it's the US that is in the way of reunification with your friendly north korean 'brothers' too eh? Rolling Eyes

Thanks.

No. I am not one of those.

But I am just one of many Koreans who believe the history is demanding us a piecefull and patient resolution to this ever-tragic Two Koreas conflict, who fear current US's approach to this issue, and who feel really sick whenever a foreigner like you irresposibly(and cruely) ask for a pre-emptive strike to the North regardless of the obviously possible casualties.

And yes. I am from a family who have relatives still living up there like so many South Koreans.

If I may ask you one thing, I understand that whatever you say is basically your own right. But please, please don't bring that BS to your class. Wink

1. If the north started to attack, we should get all the "native" English teachers to form a human shield to save us from the north.
2. Directly behind this mostly volunteer Laughing shield we would arm all the adjummas with K2's.

Result...

Half of the north would drop their weapons and run back across the DMZ, after being frightened from the sight of so many scary looking foreign devils. (Want proof? Go to Polly's or the UN Club on a Saturday night around 11PM)

The other half would run all the way back to China after having a glimpse of the adjummas.

Do you really believe that there ever will be a peaceful solution if the Americans withdraw???
The commies would run over your homeland like never tomorrow.

Why don't you ask your parents, who were actually here and experienced first-hand what it's like to be occupied by N. Koreans and how they treated them, instead of letting your dumb imagination and hopes run wild!!!!!!!!!!!

Again, I reiterate, these N. Koreans are trained to believe that the world is their enemy. Who's gonna enlighten them?? You?

Hi indiercj,
"And........yourself." Thank you, that's really nice of you to make such a comment. Rolling Eyes "But............conflict,". Oh please, give me a break! History is going to take whatever course it desires. Of course, I want peace and for the Korean peninsula to be unified. Why are you and so many of the younger Korean generation afraid of the U.S.? The U.S. IS NOT going to attack North Korea!!!!!!!!!!!! Get it???? It would be insane for the U.S. to do so..just as it would be for the North to attack the U.S. military!!!!!!!! Of course, if the North attacks the U.S. the U.S. would have to defend itself. But, like I said I don't believe that this will happen. ** That is why diplomacy, trying to iron out major differences of opinion/disagreements,patience and continued six party talks are so crucial and necessary. ** Do you think the U.S. likes the North making belligerant, threatening remarks about the U.S.? No, it doesn't!!!!!!! Don't you read the newspapers? President Bush has said over and over and over that the U.S. will not attack the North!! What does your President do?
Make negative and offensive remarks about the United States!!!!!!! There are thousands of U.S. troops helping to defend your country!!!!!!! **** YOUR government invited the U.S. military!!!!! The U.S. did not come here as a bully..your country is not a colony of the U.S.!!!!!!!!!! Why don't you people..especially the younger generation try showing some friggin gratitude/respect!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you ever tried to get to know an American soldier so far away from home? Invited him/her to coffee or a meal? Or, just gave a friendly "hello". ** Most Americans,Australians,British,Canadians etc. are not these horrible, terrible, raping foreign devils that many of you South Koreans think we are!!!!!!!!!!! Get it??? What do you Koreans do? You attack/harass some of my fellow Americans in uniform!!!!!!! You spit on some of my fellow Americans in uniform!!!!!!! You make disrespectful, offensive comments about MY President and my fellow Americans in uniform!!!!!!!!!! You illegally invade/trespass on American military posts/U.S. Consulate etc.!!!!! What a bunch of IDIOTS!!!!!! You DISRESPECTFULLY BURN the American flag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You attack/harass some Westerners (Australians,Canadians,New Zealanders,British, etc.) that aren't even American because you Koreans ignorantly assume that they are!!!!!!!!! Most American soldiers DO NOT want to be here!!!!!!!!! And, I don't blame them!!!!!! Some of us are not allowed/have not been allowed to different South Korean businesses (internet cafes, nightclubs, bars etc.) because of YOUR people's racism!!!!!!!!!! I like many other Western/American people wish that the U.S. would remove all American soldiers from this peninsula!!!!!!!!!!!! Then, you Koreans can deal with the North and China!!!!!!!!!! Regarding any Westerners, etc. that wish a preemptive strike by the U.S. on the North..yes, that is wrong and foolish to say so. Your country is SUPPOSEDLY an ally of the United States. Rolling Eyes But, many of us DO NOT feel that way..and many of my fellow Americans back home (from what I've read) do not feel that way either!!!!!! I've met alot of nice South Koreans..like the older generation..they remember the war years and after that when things were so difficult. But, some of you other Koreans need to stop talking YOUR B.S.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree.

But don't believe every Koreans(including a "young" thirty something like me) who tell you that they fear War breaking in this Peninsula(regardless it being started by the US or the North, really think this would actually happen. They only fear. Wink
