Just wondering how hard tickets are to get and any other information you might have.

Thanks!

Very easy to get tickets. You may even be approached by an adjumma selling tickets for 1000 won or so. I think a normal ticket costs around 5-10,000. I recommend sitting along the first base line where the cheering section is. Was handed lots of beer and given too much dried squid by random Koreans.

Oh, and you can bring in your own food and drink, so stock up a backpack or buy from the adjummas waiting outside the stadium.

Anyone up for a Dave's ESL thing where we all get tickets together and go to a game and try to get seats together? Is that doable?

I saw them last Saturday in Mokdong playing the Heroes. The crushed the Heroes. It was easy to get a ticket. It was crowded but not difficult to figure out seating.

Lotte got smashed 2 games in a row by SK in Incheon. They're playing tomorrow as well in Incheon.

Just don't cheer against Lotte in their home stadium. You might get assaulted.

haha...know what you mean but...

I did it, several times, decked out in Samsung gear (throwback in fact) and won over the people in my immediate seating area...not for my team, but for me, personally, when they figured out I was for real and knew how to discuss baseball in mostly Korean. Even got me laid once...similarly drunk late 20's chick who was a Lotte fan. She turned around and talked shit to me for about 2 innings and then I told her to come up the four rows or so and back it up. So, she did and ended up sitting next to me and the fellas for the rest of the came. Despite the best cockblocking efforts of 30k+ fans, it was just my day.

I do have the highest respect for the level of enthusiasm and cheering energy they have for their team, though. I root for Lotte when Samsung isn't playing. Very Happy They have a really cool stadium, too.

Thanks for the link. The only deal is I like near Seoul; you live near Busan. Who lives near Seoul who wouldn't mind setting up something some weeks in advance and would be reliable? I tried that website, and it doesn't work.

I think it would be cool if a bunch of foreigners went together to see a game.... It would be a unique Dave's experience to boot!
