Help me please!!!

I have a long weekend off in May and I've been thinking of taking a trip to Japan via ferry from Busan to Fukuoka. However, my Korean co-teacher called to book a ticket for me....NO.....they're all booked. Crying or Very sad

So Fukuoka is off the list. 2nd option is taking a flight to Osaka since everyone here seems to reccomend that place and the surrounding areas. Where can I book a CHEAP flight from Incheon to Osaka? If I get a flight, please name all places that are worth visiting. BTW I checked whypaymore.co.kr, onlinetour.co.kr and nexttour.co.kr but NO luck.

Thanks a lot.

Really? I just checked nexttour.co.kr and they have a flight to Osaka for 186,000 for the weekend of May 1st-5th - I assume that's the weekend you're talking about.

Edited to add the destination

There are also slower overnight ferries from Busan to Fukuoka and Osaka, which are less likely to book up. If your co-workers are helping you, tell them to check out:

http://www.kampuferry.co.jp/ (Shimonoseki)

That is a bummer. Sorry, I didn't click all the way through.

That website did have some good deals though, so thanks

I checked out farecast.com and they have flights to Fukuoka for around $300 US. That might be more than what you want to pay, but figured I'd let you know anyway.

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? If you're below a certain age some places have student deals (i.e. statravel.com) and you can get a ticket for a little bit cheaper

I'd grab that jejuair ticket now. That's a good price. I just checked cheapo and a couple others online for ya and the lowest was $399 US incl. tax. Good luck.

Nexttour is showing good airfare prices to Tokyo, Guam, Bangkok, and other places for this weekend, May 1st through 5th. While I can use the site to search flights, get quotes, itinerary, and taxes, I can't for the life of me sign up for an account to log in and purchase a flight. Guess I better get help tomorrow on this one. Does the Nexttour allow foreigners to sign up?

I found it through Travelocity as it's actually Travelocity Korea. Going through American sites only displays over priced results as they only specialize in trips starting in America even though they can sell international to international flights like Seoul to Tokyo. The American Travelocity quoted like $500 for Tokyo while the Korean version quoted like $250 including tax.

JL8834 05/01 20:10-22:15
JL0031 05/05 09:20-11:35

for 470,000won you can go anytime tho.

I was just using Whypaymore and I just get a hand thing with a ding sound when trying to get quotes. Not only did I try Japan, but also Guam. I know the hand palm facing you means, "opsayo." The windows ding is an opsayo too like when you're trying to do something you can't do in the system or trying to do something too quickly. It's quite ridiculous how limited things are around here. I bet flights and other things are really not this rediculously limited as the market leads on try to believe. They're playing on Korean ignorance of not knowing what it's like outside of Korea. They're assuming everyone are Korean shopping in Korea, but that .045%, us, is here seeing what a bubble in a vacuum is like.

One time I looked up flights to Japan from Korea and back and I think I remember seeing prices from like $800-$1,000+ U.S. dollars, but I think I was looking in the wrong places b/c that is ridiculous. I would like to know what the average cost is because I definitely plan on going to Japan on vacation sometime after I move to Korea.

Try clicking on 'Vacant seat Review' after entering the dates, in the drop down menu.

(Hakata = Fukuoka)
