Had 5 days off.

Caught a Korean catfish in a fairly clean Gangwondo river.

Enjoyed sunny warm weather in the past 2 days.

Ate really good food.

Got to talk to my uncle on the phone who I haven't been able to see or call for like 8 years due to his constant volunteering for overseas military assignments, but we're now in email contact as well. He now has a phone while he's home, but fixing to go to Afganistan soon.

What part of the South are you from? Haven't heard that one in quite a while.

That's informal speech for, "getting ready to go." Lets not get this North vs. South thing started. This is supposed to be a simple thread about what good things have happened to you in the past week. I'm from the Midwest in area that has both North and South elements to it. Where Missouri meets Arkansas. Missouri is actually a mix of both up until you get North of I-70 while Arkansas is the South.

Ya I was gonna say the people I know that say that are mostly from the Midwest.

I saw a guy dead on the floor of a samgyupsal restaurant. Crying or Very sad

I stared at some guy leering really obviously trying to get a peek between a girls legs on the seat across from him on the subway, when he didn't stop I moved to stand in front of him so my crotch occupied his line of sight.

I came in my woman's mouth.

I got up 5 more kg off my chest in the gym this week than last.

I got paid a lot of money to have a conversation about world events (but that's every week).

I asked a girl out and she said yes.

... and then she changed her mind and said no. So I don't know quite where that falls.

I've had a good week, my parents came to visit. I somehow got a 5 day weekend. My co-teacher bought a large portion of Dak Galbi for me to cook my parents. My school bought me a fan.

It's the little things innit.

1)I got some Greek feta cheese (it was expensive, but I was happy to get it).

2)I bought some nice beef pastrami.

3)An older gentleman insisted I sit with him in the section where older people sit to be friendly to me.

4)A Korean who is proud of his Buddhist and Confucian heritage told me how he likes to volunteer to help foreigners see certain parts of Kyungju. I wish he had a business card. He also seemed very open-minded and to like people universally.

5)On my floor, a couple of people (in my building) went out of their way to say hello when they saw I was a foreigner.

6)I am going to have Western style brunch with a bunch of friends in Ilsan tomorrow.

7)I bought a 5,000 won note from 1977. So, now I have one from 1977 and 1983.

CoolI met a good friend and had a good time.....

9)I am glad many users on Dave's are laughing off what Jon Huer writes.

10)I am getting up earlier and earlier.

Wishing positive things for the other posters....

After looking for 1 month, I finally tracked down a fishing tackle shop that had the fishing hooks I was looking for. (It is in a run down back street - and was closed.) The owner came and opened up - and gave me 1/2 of his hook supply for free: "Service".

And I landed 91 fish last week. Yes, it's been a great week in Korea.

My friend came to visit from Japan, we had a great time.

Today I managed to deny a taxi theif from snagging my ride as I was standing in the rain. That always feels satisfying.

Wow, this is a really wonderful thread!

1) Spent mothers day & my dads birthday (also my pre-30th birthday) back with the family in California. Got to sit at the family table with my girlfriend by my side. Not the first that has sat there, but the first that belonged there, and everyone knew it. She gets along so great my little sister said: "I hope she can be my big sister soon."

2) Got our 2nd E-2's at the SF Consulate this week without a single problem. One of the ladies there even remembered us from our last trip out there a year and a few months ago. Apparently, my Korean has improved.

3) Found out our school is flying us out on Singapore Airlines, which has always been a thousand times better than any western carrier. Free drinks for 12 hours and a good selection of movies makes me smile. Plus a fighting chance at a free upgrade to business class can't hurt.

4) Got to enjoy the lovely beginning of a San Francisco Bay Area summer, with highs in the upper 70's and put on a bit of a tan with minimal effort.

5) Helped my mom plant some orange and fig trees and realized that if I ever have children there's a strong chance they'll get to see those trees and eat those oranges some day. That really freaked me out in a good way.

Had a brilliant time at the World DJ Fest in Seoul, met a lot of really great people, watched the sun rise with good friends and cheap maekolli.

Tried the rotating sushi place in Chuncheon and was completely impressed by the quality.

Talked to my momma on mother's day.

This is what a feminist looks like.

Me or the perv?

From wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminist
Feminism is the idea that women should have political, social, sexual, intellectual and economic rights equal to those of men.
---

Yes, it is her sexual right to be on her knees and have me come in her mouth. Girl power.
