Having been away for a couple of years now, Id forgotten how outrageous rents in Seoul were
Im looking to return on some business but were talking $5000 for a nice 3 bed apartment in a decent area, (Hannam-Dong) its putting Central London prices to shame, lol admittedly, theres some stuff around $2300/month which is liveable providing they strip out all the horrid interiors but its far above the prices Im seeing in other parts of Asia
But, am I missing a trick? These sites dont give a key money option which I know will bump up the rental cost and with them being pretty accessible to foreigners, Im guessing the establishment is keen to charge us special Wayguk prices, lol...
Id ideally want to be in Seoul, but theres fantastic apartments in Shanghai for $500/month and a lot of nice places in Beijing for about $1000/month for the saving Id rather telecommute from China which would at least put me in the right time zone can anyone point in the right direction and give me an idea what Id be able to get for $1,000 - $1,500 per month? |
