My partner and I are considering coming to teach in Korea in late July or early August. I've been through the Hagwon grind before and have a couple of years experience teaching while my partner is a newbie.

Originally we were going to head back to a Hagwon I knew had good western management which helped me to avoid a lot of the drama that comes with straight Korean employers. They paid on time, everything was on the the up and up, but unfortunately they don't have any open positions when we need them.

So the question is, can anyone recommend a good Hagwon that has western managers taking care of relations with the foreigners? I'm basically refusing to even consider a new Hagwon without some good word-of-mouth references.

Main thing for us is, getting paid on time, having all the proper deductions made and no issues with providing accommodation for a common-law couple. Location isn't an issue so we are open to suggestions Smile Thanks a lot!

Doesn't Jurgen own or manage a hagwon? You could try asking him.

Aren't they the ones that messed up that advertisement a few weeks ago or was that another place?
