He's 22 I think. Definitely looks more a boy than a man. Very very beautiful, but not terribly sexy. But then again... if I were fifteen...

His mum and dad are famous classical musicians in Norway, and so it's not surprising he is rather talented (and rather a good showman too).

Here are short excerpts from several contestants:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/#30816000

I especially like the comment at the end:

"Did you ever wonder what happened to countries that didn't invent blues or jazz or rockabilly or R & B or ? or hip hop? This happens..."

^ Well, we didn't invent any of those things in England either but we do ok. It's the continental Europeans. They just don't get it.

I've always wondered why the pop music of mainland Europe is so terrible. Abba is the only exception I can think of. Why does all the good pop and rock music come from the UK or the USA?

Although I'm impressed by the showmanship of that Norwegian lad. I can see he's going to be a hit with the ladies!!

You must try this. I heard this once so I know what it sounds like. I just went to the site to hear it again. I double clicked because the conection was a bit slow. And, as we know, when that happens at daves we have a double post. Well in this case it opened two windows of that song a few seconds apart. And the music and singing was coming over my speaker from both windows at the same time. It sounded even better. Like he was doing a duet with himself.

That must be something Lauguage related! I am talking about our music preference.

The boy's song is lovely, but I dont think I can bear it for long.

East European music has its unique pattern, you gotta listen to it a lot before you get used to and begin to love it all.

It took me a while to get used to Korean music, but now, I am totally in love with Korean music.
