| I can't speak for the school but Yeoungdeungpo is a decent place. There are a variety of neighborhoods that span the economic spectrum so your apt. may or may not be alright. The area has good access to the rest of Seoul (20 mins from Shinchon/hongdae, 30 from Chongno, 20 from Itaewon). Also there is a Costco there in addition to Hyundai's flagship dept. store in Mok-Dong, a 5 minute taxi ride. Basically it's a solid area but your apartment could be sweet or suuuuuuuuuck.
