I'm going to be leaving the country next week (Wednesday), but until then I'm staying in my apartment that is provided by my school where I work. Now, if you've followed any of my earlier threads, you know by now that I haven't been paid in several months and my boss actually feels she doesn't have to pay me because she doesn't believe I have enough money to afford a plane ticket home. Anyhoos, so this means until I leave, I have to keep working for free in a job that has been getting regressively worse by the day. I'm starting to think my best bet might just be to vacate this apartment and find another place to stay while waiting out my flight at Seoul Incheon Airport.
Any advice? Maybe a cheap hotel near the airport? Other ideas I haven't even thought up yet?
I figure if I don't vacate this apartment, I'm stuck working each day until I leave, which is pissing me off because I am literally giving them free work. I already know that the moment I stop teaching, they'll go immediately after my apartment and turn that into a drama, so I want to be out and away from their clutches before that would have to happen. |

There are love motels that are rather nice. Yu Bum Suk put his parents up in one for some time, and they loved it. They are relatively cheap, 30-40 per night. But then again, you don't have the money for a plane ticket, so you probably can't afford that 
Don't stay at a standard hotel, quite expensive. And why bother staying near the Airport, there isn't much to do there. Stay in Seoul and have a bit of fun before you go. |

Thanks, Polonius. Yeah, I think I caught the humor in your response. Yes, I do have enough money to afford a hotel if I need to.  How would I go about finding these love motels without having to wander the streets looking for one? I'd kind of like to be close to the airport for when I leave (as I leave very early in the morning) but I'm kind of flexible there, too. |

| I would consider staying until the end. However small it might be, there is still a chance that you could recover some of your money. You could use the time to apply firm pressure on the powers that be. Hopefully, you don't walk away empty-handed. |

Where do you live? Just look for the hotel with the camouflaged parking lot |

40,000 W for a single, clean and 3 mins fromt he airport and they run a shuttle service both ways.
Book though, sorry don't have the phone number on me..they do have a websit |

Hotel Incheon Airport (may now be called the Incheon Airport Hotel, they reversed the name) is OK, but not very cheap, as I recall. They are close and have free shuttles to the airport for mornings. I stayed there the last time I left Korea and then again when I returned.
However, I believe that the airport has a jimjilbang that is quite cheap and I hear it's not bad at all. It may be your best bet the night before you go, as you will be on site for your flight. I have not stayed there, but had a friend that did on her way home and she said it was fine. |

The love motels are easy to find. They are called yogwons. 여관. You might also be able to find a Goshiwon 고시원. But they are really tiny, mainly a bed in the room the size of the bed, with shared washrooms.
If you are in Seoul, I can try and help you find one. If you go for one near the airport, I have no clue. |
