A 49-year-old woman worth 20 billion won (approximately $16 million) has placed an online ad with the matchmaking company Sunoo in an attempt to find a husband.
Potential candidates should be single white-collar workers with at least a bachelors degree, between the ages of 39 and 49 years old. Its preferable that they be living in Seoul or Gyeonggi Province.
As for her, she is an elegant, slim, feminine and active woman who enjoys sports and traveling, as well as a genuine, considerate and open-minded person who has a heart of gold.
Another woman, a 51-year-old whos also worth 20 billion won, has also been searching for a husband through Sunoo, so far without success.
Its time to pick up your game, boys.

I'd be suspicious of her publicizing she has big money as that's a dead giveaway of a scam assuming she wrote that she had $16b. People with money don't go around telling everyone about it. What she might do is snooker you in and then give you a surprise double or triple whammy, leaving you high and dry for the sharks to eat you alive.

No, because the next South Korean who lies to me will be the first. South Koreans are honest to a fault.

I think it's just sad that she has to indicate that she has lots of money in order to snare a potential partner. But I guess that's how the way things are these days.

I'm in the age range. I'm just not a white collar worker.

Surely you jest. My sarcasm detector sucks.

My hakwon coworkers would lie about the situations of the FTs to the parents all the time so the school didn't look bad.

I find nothing attractive about most Korean women over 28 or so.

As long as she promised to never get a perm or wear a visor I would be all over that like white on rice.

No wouldn't marry her, but to be a her toy boy in the hope of a pay off, yes!

See here: http://www.geocities.com/hkhemlock/ox/diary-23may09.html
for May 23rd.

Quote:
So all seems right Except for one thing. The Face-We-Would-Most-Like-To-Slap-Repeatedly of the Week Award has gone once again to Tony Chan, self-proclaimed lover and heir of the late Nina Wang. Like so many other things these days, this so-called Award claims to represent the views of the Hong Kong people. But it does not.

With such a captivating and (unless you are his wife, for some reason) infectious grin that even the most gifted caricaturist would struggle to exaggerate, how could Tony Chan fail to melt the heart of any aging, terminally ill billionaire widow? A few twisted malcontents out there the sort with a bitter, inborn and irrational hatred for former barmen/lothario/gigolo/Feng Shui charlatan/Zvengali-type characters with allegedly forged wills and creepy-looking bald henchmen clearly have a big chip on their shoulders about him. But most of us, if we are to be honest, are fans.

Not all men in their early 30s would get into the habit of offering massages, mystic advice and generally adoring, non-platonic company to a woman in her mid-50s, and continue to attend to her as she reached 60, then 65, up to her death at 67, by which time he would still be in the late youth of his mid-40s. But the fact is that HK$33 billion, even if estimated, does something for a woman. She could create 8,700 jobs at HK$3,770,114.94 and still have change left over. And that adds a youthful, sensuous, inviting glow, and more. Show me a man who doesnt think so, and I will show you a liar. Lets say one tryst a week over 12 years. Round it down a bit for Rohypnol, Viagra, travel expenses and candle-lit dinners a gentlemanly escort would obviously pay for plus a fairly up-market wardrobe to impress the old girl and that works out at HK$52 million per encounter, not including the little HK$600 million tips she tossed his way once in a while for schoolbooks or whatever. Most of us, if we are to be honest, are impressed.

The answer to the unspoken question is Damn right I wouldve!

Wild American friend Odell swaggers up with a tea tree oil, oatmeal and organic safflower frappuccino. I show him the news of the Award, and he sneers. In his earthy way with words he opines that he would service a smaller ruminant every seven days for such a sum.

Even a 65-year-old one? I demand. I mean, you did say goat. He does a quick mental calculation.

Thats over six-and-a-half million US dollars a week, he muses. He looks me straight in the eye. You betcha.

Its a long shot, that story about Ninas will. But 33 billion Id grin like that. Why didnt I study feng-shui? Most of us, if we are to be honest, are jealous.

If she's not ugly [Mod Edit], p.m me. Age is just a number. It's how you feel that determines your quality of life.
Very Happy

The question should be, "would she marry you?"
