Hi I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how the process for switching visas works?

I will finish my SMOE contract this August and I want to start a full time language course at a uni a few weeks later. This course will be for 10 weeks but I don't know how the process works. Is it a D-2 or a D-4 that I will be going for? Do I also need to leave the country when I change the visas?? I will probably anyway, but would like to know.

Then.. my course will finish around November but I would like to hang around in Korea until early January 2010 on a tourist visa. This is possible, right? If so, I understand that again.. I need to leave the country for this to happen.

Many thanks in advance Smile
