...please...for goodness sake...can some of you use some deodorant? or if you're not showering daily...please do so! this hot weather is definitely not bringing out the best in some of you. i had a rather nasty reminder this morning on the subway of how much foreigners stink up quite nicely this time of the year...needless to say, half the subway car was evacuated because of a single person (a female in fact).

Homemade deoderant is the best, here's one easy recipe that works for me.

Mix equal parts of baking soda, petroleum jelly and talcum powder. Melt over low heat until its completely smooth and well mixed. Stir constantly while the ingredients are heating.
Pour into a container and seal. Cool at room temperature then use as needed.
For the first batch try 2 or 3 TBS per ingredient to start with. If you like it, increase the amounts for a larger batch.

i would never suggest putting that mix on ur body. Unless u enjoy smelling like a hospital and r find comfort in rashes.

yes, for god sakes people, use some deo. order it from home, buy it at the foreign market for 20 bucks a stick, steal from ur friends... whatever. just friggin use it.

did some of us miss that special week of health classes in 6th grade where they split the boys and girls up and talk about "our changing bodies"?? the number one thing for both groups is HYGIENE!!! for someone to be in their 20's and not know how to be clean and smell nice is ridiculous and inexcusable. and ur only proliferating the idea that foreigners r dirty.

I advocate a policy of ethnic cleansing, beginning with free soap distribution in Itaewon.

The beginning should have been at least 15-20 years ago for most of us...

I worked with a guy who used to make our entire school smell bad.

I guess some people think because deodorant wasn't really easily found and because they eat a mainly Korean diet, that their bodies automatically "become" Korean and don't sweat as before.

Ew Ew Ew. Wear your deodorant!!

Eating a mainly Korean diet would make you more pungent. Fresh garlic, kimchi, copious amounts of meat, soju, etc.
