I have read numerous articles on the DPRK and their capabilities... and not once have they ever detonated a bomb that is capable of destroying Seoul. Their tests have been estimated to be between 2 to 6 kilotons -that would not be enough to destroy Seoul. |
Well I read a day or two ago that it was either equivalent or more than than what was dropped on Japan at the end of WWII |
I heard this too. I also think I heard that they have no way to deliver it even to Seoul except dropping it from a plane which could prove to be rather difficult. |

KJI, however crazy he may be, is probably surrounded by guys/henchmen who don't want to die. They are probably astute enough to realise that any aggressive action against Seoul would result in their immediate deaths. |
I tend to think differently...after seeing this clip below...they all look like puppets caught in a totalitarian alienation similar to Hitler's:

I think the recent test of 6 MISSILES says a lot of their capabilities...especially if they want to TEST one in southern direction.... |

No, I'm not, nor have I ever served.
What does that have to do with the topic at hand?
You've stated that -
Quote: |
one might want to think of one's ticket outta there: |
Quote: |
Seoul is just 35 miles away
according to what I have read THEY CAN DO IT |
Quote: |
see previous posts
on articles from The New York TImes
about missiles they have successfully launched
bombs they have successfuly detonated |
So I'm asking you
-How can you be so sure that North Korea has the capability to destroy Seoul by launching a Nuclear attack?
1. They have yet to test a bomb capable of destroying Seoul
2. They have yet to launch a missile capable to carrying a traditional nuclear device.
3. They have yet to miniturize their technology so as to allow them to launch said missile.
So, have you actually done any reading other than the NY Times, or are you just planning to continue to quote a newspaper for your 'facts'? |

I have not seen you cite anything...nor would I probably want to read it ...nor do I care that you never cited anything
you might want to read some of the reports in the last week...yes, from the New York Times which has articulate reporters
I have already stated why to all your questions above
and I am not in a courtroom defining things in black and white trying to defend myself
this is a discussion forum
so relax captain corea

You're hear trying to incite panic - telling people that they should be buying tickets home.
And as soon as you're called on your shite... you change the subject or resort to off-handed comments.
Here are some facts for you:
North Korea has never demonstrated the ability to detonate a nuclear device capable to destroying Seoul.
North Korea has never demonstrated the capability of delivering a nuclear weapon.
North Korea has yet to demonstrate any ability in miniaturization that would be needed to put a nuclear warhead on a missile.
North Korea has over the past few decades stated that the armistice is finished.
I read the NY Times everyday... but I'm not dumb enough to take it as gospel.

What are you talking about you have no idea whats coming out of your mouth. North Korea is incapable of launching nuclear missile strikes. So they send a few non nuclear missiles Seouls way it wot do anything but minor damage before North Korea is wiped off the map.

Unless you can answer Captrain Coreas questions with some valid links and information, you're just here acting like a chicken with its head cut off. |

South Koreans don't give a damn about the north Korean blustering. Just western media (including nuthatch via his NY times ) because....It is a slow newsweek.
Just a few weeks ago NY times etc were warning 1 billion deaths at the hands of swine flu, now no one cares. North korea will be forgotten about next week when some crazy shoots kids in a high school or the next actor dies from overdose.
Nuthatch get perspective and stop believing every tiny NY times word you read. South Koreans dont care, not because they are dumb, but that they have more experience in how these things go.
Think of newspapers like hagwans. Is the priority of hagwans to improve english levels..no. Are newspapers priorities to better inform the people...no. Business is business.
AC
P.S. sorry if this does not fit your articulate template

no you didint address anything and you certainly didn't answer any of Captain Corea's questions. Your post and link was irrelevant and said nothing about Korea's nuclear delivery capabilities.
-How can you be so sure that North Korea has the capability to destroy Seoul by launching a Nuclear attack?
1. They have yet to test a bomb capable of destroying Seoul
2. They have yet to launch a missile capable to carrying a traditional nuclear device.
3. They have yet to miniaturize their technology so as to allow them to launch said missile.
Provide any proof that they have the technology to arm a missile with a nuclear warhead.
