|
|
I was hoping someone could give me some info about when the summer camps are. So far, I'm leaving Korea end of June, and have a wedding in England at the end of July, but I want to do a summer camp after the wedding, to fill in time before the start of the school term in England.
Any info would be appreciated. |

Seems like last few weeks of July, real heavy in August, and beginning of September, more or less.
Can't recall many starting up in June..
Looks like you are predominately looking at August, which is a pretty key month for summercamps. You should find something. |

The camp at our university is in late July, into August.
Are camps hell? Some of my colleagues think so. I actually enjoy having time with children, as I teach university otherwise. Its exhausting, but I love children, and find my Korean students to be very sweet. The guys call me "long legs" and "basketball player." (Another woman teacher and I tromped 8 boys at basketball today- big respect from now on!)
Camp is not easy, but it can be fun, and it pays well. |

I did a camp a couple summers ago. It was exhausting and a pain-in-the-butt, but the money was well worth it. I'd do it again. |

About how much do you pocket for a summer or winter camp and for what kind of time commitment? I'm thinking about a winter camp next year. |
