Whoa, where do I apply? LEI means it's basically the hagwon department, so I'd definitely have a shot. I'm very interested in the money and the "perk".

Think they still require a Masters for the LEI. I may be mistaken though.

Draz,

Unfortunately I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. In any event, I'd rate it as a good job. I would say it's pretty hard to get a job at the LEI because it's such a small staff.

The above post by Mishchief is correct that they do require a Master degree.

Language education perks are certainly useful.

Another perk is that sometimes you can get some high-paying overtime.
For someone that likes to work overtime, I think the LEI job offers good ANNUAL earning potential.

Anyways, just my opinions.

I found all of these saved in a large file left for me by a coworker. He copied/pasted the more interesting univ. ads from 2005 to 2006 or so. I have many of the major Seoul schools, and others in/out of Seoul. Maybe CubanLord can upload them for others to link to somehow? They're interesting. If anyone wants a specific school's old ads posted, please PM me. Here are three samples of different jobs in different areas at SNU:

Definitely not sarcasm. The ad included the payscale for someone with a BA but if they actually only consider people with a Master's I'm out.
