I had to go down to the cop shop once after having some problems with a Korean. I couldn't believe how they had us in such close proximity of each other the whole time with tempers obviously flaring. I had to give my statement with the jackass looking right over my shoulder. It was a joke.
But in the end... I won.  |

reminds me of all those movies in which a guy stalks the only witness to his murderous crime, ending up in an all out public chase in which the guy doesn't seem to mind dozens of witnesses watching him try to murder the witness to his earlier murder

now if only he would do the brave thing and off himself before the korean keystone kops let him out |

| Anyone remember that scene in Memories of Murder where the cop points out two men writing reports, and says that one raped the other's sister? It's standard procedure to get everybody together to try and get the story straight from everyone at once. Disgusting, but standard procedure. |

Right. This is conflict resolution Korean-style. Korean cops always hope that the victim will forgive the perp after a few hours of shouting in the cop station. Then costly prosecutions can be avoided and everyones face is saved......
.....doesn't really matter that a crime has been committed...... |

This one time, a taxi driver tried to abduct my wife. She escaped but left her phone in the taxi. She made it to the police station, and they called the phone, and the driver answered. He came down to the police station and they had a nice chat about how he wasn't refusing to take her where she wanted, just suggesting a better motel they could go, and when he stopped the car and tried to get in the back seat, presumably he was only doing it to be helpful. The police concluded my wife was the crazy one and let the guy go (and her too fortunately). |

| I wouldn't be surprised if they arrived at the station in the back of the same police too. Seen this happen all the time. Fight brakes out, police puts everyone uncuffed in the back of the same car. |
